Second, over at Q and O, McQ has discovered another inconvenient fact about polar ice and the threatened polar bears. Follow the link for the picutres, but the numbers are these: Since 1980, ice concentration at the poles is up 35 percent, ice extent is up 21 percent.

Remember those tidbits when Al Gore and his acolytes (now there's a name for a band) tell you to be happy about $4 a gallon gasoline.
